Product Photographs and Descriptions

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions and photographs accurately represent the products we sell.

Please note that, for some products, the photographs shown in a listing may not be photographs of the exact individual item you will receive.

Where multiple units of the same model or product are available, we may use photographs of one representative item from that model for the listing. The item you receive may therefore differ slightly in cosmetic appearance, including scratches, marks, signs of use, colour shade or other minor cosmetic differences.

The photographs are intended to show the model, type, design and general condition of the product.

Where the exact individual item is shown and the listing specifically states that the photographs are of the actual item, the photographs will represent the item being sold.

Please carefully read the full description and examine all photographs before purchasing.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, only the items, accessories and components expressly included in the listing are included in the sale. Items appearing in photographs for demonstration purposes but not mentioned as included should not be assumed to form part of the purchase.

Nothing in this section limits your statutory consumer rights.

Used Products

Many of our products are used or previously owned.

Used products may have cosmetic signs of previous use, including scratches, marks, dents, wear or other imperfections.

The condition of each product will be described in the listing to the best of our knowledge.

Minor cosmetic differences between the photographs and the item received do not, by themselves, mean that the product is faulty or not as described, provided the product corresponds materially with the description and listing.

Returns – Consumer Purchases

If you are a consumer purchasing from us online, you may have a 14-day statutory cancellation period under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Where the statutory cancellation right applies, you generally have 14 days from the day after you receive the goods to notify us that you wish to cancel.

After notifying us of cancellation, you generally have a further 14 days to return the goods.

The goods should be returned in accordance with the applicable statutory requirements.

Where a customer has exercised their statutory cancellation right, we will provide the refund required by law. This will normally include the standard delivery charge paid when the original order was placed, subject to the applicable legal rules.

Where permitted by law, we may make a deduction from the refund if the goods have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning and this handling has reduced their value.

The customer may be responsible for the direct cost of returning goods when exercising the statutory cancellation right, unless we have agreed otherwise or applicable law requires us to pay the return cost.

Faulty or Not-as-Described Goods

Your statutory rights are separate from the 14-day cancellation right.

If an item is faulty, does not match its description, is not of satisfactory quality or is otherwise not in conformity with the contract, you may have additional rights under UK consumer law.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, these rights may include repair, replacement, price reduction or rejection/refund.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes these statutory rights.

If you believe there is a problem with your order, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and provide details of the issue. We may ask for photographs or videos to help us assess the problem.

Business / Trade Customers

Where a purchase is made by a business or for purposes outside the definition of a consumer under applicable law, different legal rights may apply.

Business customers should carefully inspect the listing and ensure that the product is suitable for their intended purpose before purchasing.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Carefully Consider Your Purchase

We strongly recommend that customers carefully read the complete listing, condition description and included-items information before purchasing.

Where photographs are used as representative photographs rather than photographs of the exact individual item, this will be indicated by the listing or these Terms & Conditions.

Please make considered purchases and ensure that the product is suitable for your intended use before placing an order.

This request to make a considered purchase does not restrict or remove any statutory rights you may have.

Safety

Customers are responsible for using tools and equipment safely and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

Used tools should be inspected before use, particularly electrical, mechanical, cutting and battery-powered equipment.

Where appropriate, customers should use suitable personal protective equipment.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes our legal responsibilities relating to product safety or consumer rights.

Testing and Condition of Tools

All tools we offer, both new and used, are tested before sale to confirm that they are functioning correctly and are in working condition at the time of sale.

Please note that used tools may have normal signs of wear and tear resulting from previous use, including scratches, scuffs, marks, surface wear and other cosmetic signs of use.

Normal wear and tear does not mean that a tool is faulty or defective, provided that it does not affect the normal operation of the tool.

We make reasonable efforts to identify and describe any significant damage, missing parts or known issues with used products.

The cosmetic condition of a used tool may differ from the photographs if the photographs are representative images and do not show the exact individual item being dispatched.

Testing a product means that we have checked its basic operation before sale. It does not mean that a used tool is in the same condition as a brand-new product.

If you receive a product with an issue that was not consistent with the listing description, please contact us. Your statutory consumer rights remain fully protected.
